Ling-chun (Hope) Lai

Hope Lai started her piano learning journey at age of four. She taught high school for three years after she graduated from National Taiwan Normal University, where she majored in Piano Performance. She finished her master’s study at University of Minnesota, 1995, and a Ph.D. degree in Music Education from University of North Texas, 2007. She is a dedicated Suzuki parent of 3 children, and she has been taking viola lessons with Wendy since 2013. She teaches in York Region public schools, and played viola in Toronto Taiwanese Chamber Orchestra.
